Our stage-based model means you only engage services that you need, so you'll always know what to expect and never commit prematurely.
Travel Readiness Check - Assess your pet’s eligibility and readiness for Japan travel.
Concierge Coordination (SG → JP) - We manage paperwork sequencing, preparation, and submissions.
Return Journey Support (JP → SG) - We manage documentation required for return to Singapore.
Services are modular. Engage only what you need.
Will my pet need quarantine? With proper preparation and compliant documentation, pets travelling between Singapore and Japan do not require quarantine.
Do you provide veterinary services or transport? No. Travel Tails provides document support and timeline planning. Veterinary care, airline bookings, and transport services are handled by third parties.
When should I start planning? Ideally at least 8 months before planned arrival in Japan. Some requirements depend on vaccination history and timelines that cannot be shortened.
Can I do this myself? In some cases, yes. However, pet travel regulations are time‑sensitive and procedural. Clients engage us to reduce risk and avoid costly delays.

Travel Tails was founded after successfully preparing and completing travel between Singapore & Japan twice with our own dog.We understand firsthand how complex and overwhelming the paperwork can feel, and created Travel Tails to provide structured, compliance-focused support for pet parents who want to travel with confidence.
